Weavers Way is a member-owned cooperative grocery with locations in Northwest Philadelphia and Ambler. We offer a friendly shopping environment and reasonably priced, high-quality products that are local, sustainable, organic, fairly traded and healthful.
The January-February 2020 Shuttle has arrived! Start the year on a healthy note with our new Wellness Team, catch up on some of the latest products we're offering, and mark your calendar with all kinds of exciting local events and activities. Thinking about running for the Board this year? You'll find all the info you need and more in this issue.
The Weavers Way Environment Committee invites community groups from the surrounding areas in Mt. Airy, Ambler, Chestnut Hill, Germantown, Glenside, Roxborough, Fort Washington, East Falls, Blue Bell, Elkins Park, and Flourtown to submit proposals for grants. Grant funds are awarded each year for clearly identifiable public purposes resulting in a tangible environmental improvement for the community.
We invited a new customer to shop our Co-op, and a filmmaker documented her experience. Clips from her Weavers Way shopping adventure are now showing on cable TV, but you can also check them out here!
Our popular pop-up shop, located across the street from our Mt. Airy store, features an eclectic mix of locally made kitchenwares, housewares, vintage, jewelry, pottery, artwork, plants and more, every Friday from 3-7 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
