Experienced Grocery Retail Professionals - All Locations

Weavers Way Co-op is looking for energetic, creative and experienced individuals for our retail locations. As a co-op, our mission is to serve the communities in which we choose to operate and offer quality products to our shoppers.

There are many places to shop for groceries, but many choose to shop with us because we are different. We offer top-notch customer service and work to get to know the members of our community. We do this by finding good people who love to help others, love their work and bring new ideas to the table. In that vein, we are looking to meet more people who share our vision and value community and working together.

No matter your role, you’re integral to the entire operation. Since we’re smaller than many big corporate chains, you have an opportunity to make an impact and become part of a community. You work with your colleagues to find new ways to streamline processes and come up with new ideas. Staff can depend on each other to help out. You get to know all kinds of folks and build relationships.

If any of the above sounds interesting to you, read on to learn more about what we are looking for:

You support local and sustainable markets and have a love and knowledge of grocery products. You're looking for a challenge within a company full of dedicated staff who do awesome things. Excellent customer service is second nature to you, and if there is an issue, you are quick to find a solution to satisfy. Most positions require being able to lift 50 lbs. We are open seven days a week, so flexible availability is a plus.

We would love to hear from applicants with all levels of experience, from management to general staff.

Founded in 1973, Weavers Way is a community-owned natural grocer with stores in Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill and Ambler. In addition to our stores, we run a market farm in the Awbury Arboretum, a CSA farm partnership with Saul High School, our own community newspaper and a non-profit that emphasizes food and nutrition education. We operate based on a triple bottom line philosophy that considers our community and environment in all of our decisions.

We are looking to fill the position ASAP. Interested applicants are highly encouraged to learn more about us at www.weaversway.coop prior to applying. Cover letter and resume required.
