Weavers Way Co-op is looking for energetic, experienced, seasoned individuals to work in our Meat & Seafood Departments in our locations in Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill and Ambler.
These positions require focus on customer service as top priority. Customer requests/complaints are to be addressed quickly and effectively — making it right is what counts. Along with customer service, and cutting meat, responsibilities include packing, wrapping, stocking the meat cases and cleaning.
Any candidate must also meet the following requirements:
- 2 years' minimum experience working specifically in a meat department or butchery.
- Knowledge of different types of meat and cuts.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
These are hourly positions, mainly full time, 40 hours/week. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, and the position will include at least one weekend day. Hourly rate of pay is commensurate with experience.
