Meat Cutters - Ambler

Weavers Way Co-op is looking for energetic, experienced, seasoned individuals to work in our Meat & Seafood Department in Ambler. This position requires focus on customer service as top priority. Customer requests/complaints are to be addressed quickly and effectively — making it right is what counts. Along with customer service and cutting meat, responsibilities include packing, wrapping, stocking meat cases and cleaning.

Any candidate must also meet the following requirements:

  • Two years' minimum experience working specifically in a meat department or butchery
  • Knowledge of different types of meat and cuts
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more

These are hourly positions, mainly full time, 40 hours/week. The candidate must have a flexible schedule, which will include at least one weekend day.

Hourly rate of pay is commensurate with experience.
