Weavers Way Homesteading Workshop: Seeds to Live by: Fall/Winter Gardening

Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Discover new techniques for extending the life of the plants in your vegetable garden to keep them producing even through the harshest of winters. You can winterize your existing plants so they stay vibrant through the cold months or bring the plants from your garden inside to "winter over." Imagine picking tomatoes and peppers in the middle of January! We will also plant fall and winter crops that can be harvested well into December as well as a variety of crops that won't be ready until the spring. And, of course, whatever you plant during the class is yours to take home!

This program is presented by Weavers Way in collaboration with the Mt. Airy Learning Tree (MALT). The course fee is $20, with a 10% discount available for Weavers Way members. To register, call 215-843-6333 and provide your Weavers Way member number to receive the discount. Discount only available at the time of registration.

Weavers Way workshops include presentations, hands-on classes, book studies, film screenings and discussions. Most are free and open to the public. Weavers Way members who lead workshops get three hours of work credit — what a great way to earn, or maintain, your Working Member status for 5% off all your purchases!
