Weavers Way Wellness Workshop: Allergies, Inflammation and Nutrition

Thursday, April 5, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Have you or a family member been affected by allergies? You're not alone. Billions of dollars are spent each year on allergy shots, antihistamines and over-the-counter medicines to offer relief from symptoms. Dietary choices can have a tremendous impact on allergies by either reducing or exacerbating the body's allergic responses. At this workshop, you'll learn about how to tamp down your body's inflammatory response using food and herbal medicine.

Location: Sage Integrative Health Center, 538 Carpenter Lane, Philadelphia.

FREE. REGISTER HERE.

This workshop will be led by Wendy Romig, MS, CNS, LDN, functional nutritionist/herbalist and owner of Sage Integrative Health Center, where she sees clients for a wide range of health concerns. Wendy is finishing her Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition and is currently on a research team investigating the anti-inflammatory effects of a proprietary blend of herbs.

This program is organized by The Weavers Way Health & Wellness Committee. The WWHWC is dedicated to exploring and educating the Co-op community on a wide variety of health resources and modalities. The committee includes, but is not limited to, professional practitioners of both conventional and natural or alternative disciplines, and welcomes anyone interested in physical, mental, spiritual and collective well-being.
