Weavers Way Workshop: Conflict Resolution

Wednesday, June 27, 2018 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Many relationships are fraught with conflict. Often, there can be a lack of understanding between the two people involved. Who can stand not being understood over the long haul? Most of us did not learn conflict solving skills, so home life is often filled with yelling or commanding styles of communication. Or silence.

It's possible to do it differently!

At this workshop, participants will learn basic conflict resolution skills, including:

  • Learning a structure for conflict resolution
  • Practicing conflict resolution skills
  • An opportunity to talk about conflicts in everyday life

This program will be led by Weavers Way Working Member Claudia Apfelbaum. Claudia is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a specialty in marriage and family therapy. Claudia lives and works in Northwest Philadelphia and has more than 30 years of experience as a social worker, teacher and psychotherapist.
