Weavers Way Workshop: Permaculture and Food Forest Tour at Awbury Arboretum

Tuesday, September 18, 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Join us in Awbury Arboretum to see permaculture principles at work at the Awbury farm and the adjacent Philadelphia Orchard Project's Food Forest. Well take a look at some of the practices at the Awbury farm and then walk over to the POP Food Forest to learn more about how both of these farms are using permaculture practices in their food production.

This program will be led by Weavers Way Working Member Andy Andrews. Andy is the owner and operator of Gardens of Gratitude, a garden design, installation and maintenance business, specializing in vegetables and edible landscaping. He has worked in the agricultural field for 20 years, including nine years as the Farming Director at Pennypack Farm and Education Center in Horsham, PA.
