SEPTA allows bikes on commuter trains and subways on off peak hours and weekends. So you'll be able to use public transportation to get to your starting point, whether it's at Mill Creek Farm in West Philadelphia, or the Weavers Way Co-op Farm in East Mt. Airy. If you drive to these starting points by car, you'll also be able to get back to your car by SEPTA. All of your options are described below:

RETURNING TO THE STARTING POINTS
FROM THE YARDS BREWERY:
If you don't want to bike back to your starting point, we recommend going to the York-Dauphin Station of the Market Frankford Line at 2300 North Front Street. Take the el/subway south.

If you're going to West Philadelphia and Mill Creek Farm, stay on the subway until the 46th Street stop. Then, follow the directions in the map at the bottom of the page.

If you're going back to the Weavers Way Co-op Farm, take the subway to the 11th Street Stop. Get on the R7 line at the Market East Station and take it to the Washington Lane station. Follow the directions on the map directly below once you get to the station.

The R7 leaves from Market East every hour: 1:43, 2:43 and 3:43. Since the event will be over no later than 2 pm, you should be able to get to Market East in plenty of time for the 2:43 train--or even the 1:43 train, if you skip the snacks and beer. (more for the rest of us)

STARTING AT WEAVERS WAY CO-OP FARM:
If you want to get to the Weavers Way Farm location from Center City and points East--or from Chestnut Hill--take the R7 (Chestnut Hill East Commuter Rail Line) to the Washington Lane stop. Get off the train. Follow the access road down to Washington Lane and follow the arrows on the map to the entrance to the farm.

STARTING AT MILL CREEK FARM:
If you want to get to Mill Creek Farm, at 49th and Brown, from points east OR west, take the Market Frankford Line to the 46th Street stop. Then follow the arrows on the map at left to 49th and Brown.
