About the Chef
Bonnie Shuman grew up in the Poconos, and spent time there at her sister's inn, helping prepare meals. In fact, her entire family are foodies, and her mother's a great cook. Bonnie was trained as a photographer, but ended up making money as a chef. She must have been born to it. As one friend said of her, "Some people play piano by ear. Bonnie makes food by mouth." Here's what Bonnie says about creating interesting food: "You have to love it to do it. I want to start fresh each day, learning something new, even when I'm making the same thing I did the day before." |
