The WWCP Children’s Garden

The Children’s Garden at Awbury Arboretum serves as a  ¼-acre educational garden for children and youth (pre-K through college) and seeks to raise awareness regarding the source of fresh produce and to change perception related to the cultivation and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Students take part in hands-on gardening and educational workshops on a diverse range of topics including composting, seeding, harvesting, bee keeping and pest management.
Andrew Turner serves as Lead Farmer.
