Run for the Board in 2017

It's an exciting time to be on the Weavers Way Board of Directors!

  • We're opening a third store.
  • We're enjoying record sales and profits.
  • We're facing more competition than ever.

Would you like to provide leadership to help expand the co-operative economic model, promote Co-op values and provide healthy food options?

Here's the to-do list for prospective Board candidates:

Attend a Board meeting, if you haven't already: Tuesday, Jan. 10, or Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. at Summit Church, 6757 Greene St.

Attend one informational session with members of the Board Leadership Committee.

  • Monday, Jan. 9, 7 p.m., in Chestnut Hill: 8419 Germantown Ave., 2nd floor (across from the Chestnut Hill store)
  • Thursday, Jan. 19, 7 p.m., in Ambler: 131 E. Butler Ave.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 25, 7 p.m., in Mt. Airy: Community Room, 555 Carpenter Lane (adjacent to the Mt. Airy store)

Fill out the application and provide a written statement and a photo by Feb. 28.

Voting starts in April and runs until the Spring General Membership Meeting in May.
