SUMMARY:Weavers Way Spring 2026 General Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow co-op members for important co-op updates, and to hear from special guest Rep Tarik Khan!\nThe meeting will be held on May 7th from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Hall at St. Paul’s Church in Chestnut Hill.\nWe will have live music, tasty eats and fun activities for kids. Our General Manager, Jon Roesser, will share the Co-op’s business update, the latest on our renovation plans for the Chestnut Hill store, our plans for the new “Weavers on the Way” mobile market, and the board election results.\nGuest speaker State Representative Tarik Khan supported the grant that the Co-op was awarded through the PA Department of Agriculture, which will help fund the Co-op’s new mobile farm truck, as well as upgrades to our Chestnut Hill store’s infrastructure. He will join us to discuss current legislative and local initiatives that impact our local community.\nThis is a zero waste event. To help with these efforts we request all members to bring a napkin, silverware, plate and cup to the event. We also encourage members to bring tupperware containers to take home food with them to help us avoid food waste.\nWorking members can earn 2hrs for attending the General Membership Meeting.
