Grow your own food!

Saturday, July 10, 2021 - 10:00am to 11:00am

Have you ever wanted to grow your own food? It could be more achievable than you think – even if you have limited space. There are also many great benefits to growing your own food. You can save money on groceries, reduce your environmental impact, reduce waste and maybe even improve your overall health. Nicole Schillinger, Registered Dietitian, will present from her sustainable greenhouse made of tires and bottles and show us the various crops that she grows. She will also share tips on how you can start your gardening journey, what tools are needed and the tricks of the trade. Learn about the fruits, vegetables and herbs you can plant here in Pennsylvania. All are welcome, green thumb or not!

This workshop will meet on Saturday 7/10 from 10-11am over Zoom.
