Health & Wellness Workshop: Healthy Aging and Nutrition

As we age, our nutritional requirements often need to shift to accommodate natural changes in our bodies. At this Community Wellness Team workshop, you'll hear nutrition experts discuss how nutrition can affect brain health, arthritis, heart health, and more. Learn specific foods for common conditions and ways to make healthy changes that work with your lifestyle.

This workshop takes place at Sage Integrative Health Center, located at 538 Carpenter Lane, down the street from the Co-op in Mt. Airy.

Jennifer Hall is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and helps clients find ways to use food as medicine for their conditions. Dr. Wendy Romig is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition and owner of Sage Integrative Health Center where she works with a wide range of chronic illnesss using functional medicine, nurtitrion and herbal interventions.

Weavers Way Workshops are a means of knowledge and skill-sharing among Co-op members, and include presentations, discussions, how-to's, book studies and support groups that are usually free, low-cost or gift-based, and open to everyone.
