Weavers Way Emergency Response Network (WERN) Meeting
The Weavers Way Emergency Response Network (WERN) is looking for people who have experienced weather or other unexpected challenges to participate on a community panel. You will be sharing your experience with other co-op members. Possible experiences include extreme weather, flooding, fires, extended power outages, internet disruptions, and supply chain interruptions. To volunteer for the panel; get on our committee e-mail list; or obtain more information, please e-mail us at preparedness@weaversway. coop.
Weavers Way Emergency Response Network (WERN) is a newly formed committee dedicated to strengthening our community’s resilience in times of crisis. We are helping Weavers Way members connect with their nearby neighbors to form small, geographically based “pods” — trusted networks that can support one another during emergencies. Our goal is simple: neighbors knowing neighbors, and neighbors ready to help neighbors. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 6:00pm in the Parlor Room at Summit Presbyterian Church in Mt. Airy, 6757 Greene St, (at Westview Street) Philadelphia,19119. Please use the entrance on Greene Street. We hope to see you there.
