Celebration of the new solar array at Weavers Way Mercantile
Join Weavers Way Co-op and the Clean Energy Co-op as we celebrate how grassroots investment is growing renewable energy at the Clean Energy Co-op’s latest solar project outside the Weavers Way Mercantile. Kids can run a solar powered shoebox size car and enjoy the bubbles produced from a portable solar panel. Short comments from groups and people integral to getting this project done will include Weaver’s Way, Clean Energy Co-op, Ken Weinstein, and Solar States. The solar array at Weavers Way Mercantile is the eighth installation of the Clean Energy Co-op, which uses an award-winning method of developing solar projects using pooled investments by its members. This pooled investment structure allows individuals to directly increase the amount of renewable energy installed in Pennsylvania.
