We are excited to announce that The Common Table: A Quarterly Literary Journal of Weavers Way is expected to publish its inaugural issue in Spring 2027. 

Weavers Way has spent more than 50 years nourishing the community through healthy food, sustainability, education, and democratic ownership. 

A literary journal extends our mission, vision, and values by nourishing the intellectual and creative life of the community—something we've been doing in the "Weavers Words" and "Artists in our Aisles" sections of The Shuttle for a while.

The concept of the "common table" originates from ancient agrarian and hunter-gatherer roots, where sharing food around a single space built social ties and community. The common table is a powerful symbol of human connection and engagement. 

The Common Table will feature co-op members' creativity by publishing:

• creative non-fiction  
• short fiction  
• poetry  
• photography  
• art  

In the coming months, we will announce how Weavers Way's members can submit their original works.
