Meet the author – Sam Gugino

Come and meet Sam Gugino, a long time co-op member and an award winning food and wine writer (Wine Spectator, NY Times). He has written four previous books, including Cooking to Beat the Clock, named one of the top ten cookbooks of the year by Amazon.com. He lives in Chestnut Hill. Sam Gugino has written a hilarious memoir about growing up in his Italian-American family in Buffalo, NY. Readers will love “Eat! You’ll Get Hungry, A Family Food Saga” not only for its heart-warming stories about Sam’s quirky family, but its delicious recipes as well, like Mom’s Sauce (“Gravy” for Philadelphians), Aunt Sandy’s cookies, and Aunt Jo’s baked artichokes.
