At the Weavers Way Farm at Saul High School
Getting too humid for hot water bath canning? Amanda Feifer of Phickle joins us for a DIY workshop on fermenting green beans. Fermenting preserves produce while aiding in digestion and making some nutrients more available. She'll show you from start to finish how to ferment green beans, a summer staple, so you can enjoy them long after the warm weather is gone. All attendees will go home with the recipe made in class.
Register Here: $30
Amanda Feifer is based out of Philadelphia, and writes about her love of fermentation for her food blog Phickle. Her first book, Ferment Your Vegetables, comes out this spring.
