Learn How to Lower your Salt and Sugar Intake

Saturday, March 19, 2022 - 10:00am to 11:00am

In this virtual workshop, Nicole Schillinger, Registered Dietitian and Chef will discuss how to lower your sugar and salt intake. Both sugar and salt intake have risen in the past few decades leading to increases in body weight, bone loss, kidney stress, diabetes, brain fog, liver disease and cancer. You will learn how to lower your sugar intake, and receive information about safer options to use. Nicole will share some healthy sweet recipes versus the typical sweets most Americans eat. Certain salts can be healthier for us - Nicole will provide info about which salts are better than others, and general info about sodium intake.
