More Plants, Less Waste: How Our Diet Affects Climate Change

Thursday, June 3, 2021 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Climate change issues can be overwhelming. Fossil fuels are a big part of the problem. But changes to our energy use alone won't get us to the level of emissions reductions we need. We also need to make changes to reduce our collective food footprint. Consider taking two steps to reduce your food footprint: limiting food waste and eating a plant forward diet. Why a plant based diet? What does that mean? What is the carbon print of our food and what can we do to reduce it? Understand the answers to these questions and practical solutions that we all can embrace.

This workshop will meet on Thursday June 3rd from 7:00-8:00pm over Zoom during the month of May.
