New Year - Mediate and Set Mindful Intentions
January brings a time to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future. Practicing mindfulness can help us bring awareness into our minds and bodies, allowing us to enter the new year with purpose & intention. We will be practicing mindful meditation practices including movement, breathing, visualization, and relaxation. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome. Kara Lehman, a working member at Weaver's Way, has been a high school English teacher in Ambler, Pa for the last 16 years. She has her Masters in Special Education, her yoga teacher certification and has studied at the Mindfulness Institute at Jefferson University Hospital. She has been a Mindful Educator & Instructor for the past 9 years - working with students, teachers, businesses, adolescents with special needs and addicts. She is continuously inspired by the transformations she witnesses.
