The Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds is charged with keeping all land documents, veteran military discharge paperwork, and other important documents recorded in Montgomery County in perpetuity. The Recorder of Deeds database contains documents that date back to Montgomery County’s inception in 1784.

In this session, genealogists will learn about the ways a deed and other recorded documents can help with their genealogy research. They will also learn how to search the database that contains these documents.
