An interactive, free workshop where attendees will be led by Backyard Eats at the Wissahickon Valley Public Library - Ambler Location, a local full service food gardening company, through the annual vegetable gardening process. 

Backyard Eats will cover best practices for garden setup and infrastructure, followed by a comprehensive garden plan for spring summer and fall gardens. Attendees will get access to their own copy of the 2023 Backyard Eats Order Form, which contains custom vegetable options suited for our climate and draws on methods of planning and planting perfected through Backyard Eats collective experience over 6 years and in more than 250 gardens. Complete with their garden square footage information, attendees will be able to walk through the planning process on a tablet or laptop device in real time and finish the workshop with a Garden Planting Guide, complete with their list of plant selections and information regarding plant sun requirements, spacing, support etc.
