Weavers Way Homesteading Workshop: Herbs for Immune System Strength
Our high-stress lifestyles and the condition of our environment take a toll on our immune system and our ability to withstand the onslaught of disease. In herbal medicine there are numerous protocols for helping an individual stay healthy. By using simple and effective remedies and lifestyle changes helps in keeping your immune system strong and your body healthy so that you can be a physically, mentally and spiritually balanced individual!
In this workshop, you will learn talk how to properly care for your immune system throughout the year. Together, we will all make elderberry elixer - a delicious and easy-to-make immune system boosting syrup!

Stephanie Kane works as the Apothecary Manager at Tooth of the Lion Farm + Apothecary, which creates accessible formulations with botanicals that thrive in the ecology of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Her classes focus primarily on making, and pull from traditional uses of plants in both western and ayurvedic tradition, to suggest ways they can be incorporated into modern life.
