Geometric Origami - Learn to Make Fun, Intricate Geometric Objects

Tuesday, June 29, 2021 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Enjoy the amazing art of modular origami and create colorful geometric, 3-dimensional structures. They are made with units of paper that are folded the same way and interlock with one another. No tape or glue is needed to join the folded papers together. No experience is necessary. Beginners and those experienced with origami are welcome. If you can, please get origami paper prior to class that is about 6" square (suggested links are below). If not, please have paper available, such as regular printer paper with a pencil and a pair of scissors.

This series will meet on Tuesday June 29th from 6:30-7:30pm over Zoom.

About the Instructor - Linda has been making origami structures since she was a young girl. A Japanese woman who was at her family's house for dinner gave her origami paper and books, and taught her how to make things. Over the years, Linda has continued to explore the art of origami. She also works with many media and creates many things. She is a teacher of art, Spanish, developmental movement, and studies realms of consciousness.
