Living up in the Trees

Thursday, June 9, 2022 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Yoni spent the three and a half months living aloft in ancient, endangered redwood trees in Northern California. He will share the story of his time living up in one of the world’s tallest and oldest trees. He will do a brief teaching on the redwood forest and how each tree is an integral part of the community. He will explain the practice of clear-cutting and its environmental effects. He will share about the tree-sitting movement and how he came to join it, what it is like to live so high up in a tree for weeks and months on end, and some funny anecdotes that tie into the program’s themes. The event will mostly be an engaging presentation, but will be interactive for a zoom audience. This workshop will be held online on June 9th at 6:30pm. A zoom link will be emailed to you after you register for the event. Please register here.
