Spring is here! The time has come for our third annual seed swap! We are hosting a seed and plant exchange on April 6th at 326B W Chelten in the Germantown outreach office. Join us in sharing seeds, gardening stories, bulbs and seedlings. Please add as much information about your seeds as possible. Information like variety, what year the seeds were packaged, and growing tips will be useful for those you'll be sharing your seeds with. We will have some envelopes and other seed keeping supplies to help you organize what you take home. This year we will also host a bonus seed starting workshop. Attendees will learn some tried and true ways of starting seeds and best practices.

 

This year, we are hosting this seed swap and seed starting workshop in partnership with the Philadelphia City Repair Project. They work with grassroots initiatives reclaiming public space through the lens of placemaking: a multi-layered process where citizens foster active, engaged relationships with their neighborhoods and work together to make changes.
