Your and yours are invited to an EARTH DAY MAKE-IN with teaching artist Mindy Flexer. Drop in Sunday, April 21, between 2pm and 4pm, at Mindy Flexer Art School, 5225 Greene Street, in Germantown. Celebrate earth day by celebrating the rainforest! Come make trees and sky for Walk in the Rainforest, an installation of a rainforest that young artists are creating with Mindy for Woodmere Art Museum’s Children’s Gallery. All ages are invited. Children 7 years old and up are welcome to come without a chaperone. Please bring a mask so we can be safe when we are working indoors. RSVP much appreciated. Mindy, a certified art teacher and professional artist, was a teaching artist at Henry School through the Picasso Project last year. After teaching art at Greene Street Friends School and the Charter High School for Architecture and Design, she now paints and teaches art at her Germantown studio, the home of Mindy Flexer Art School.
