Mid-Atlantic Food Cooperative Alliance (MAFCA) March Meeting
The Mid-Atlantic Food Cooperative Alliance (MAFCA) is a collective of 39 food co-ops, buying clubs and start-up efforts in six states (DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA) with aggregate annual sales of more than $150 million dollars. We meet several times a year at food cooperatives in the mid-Atlantic region and communicate regularly via our listserv. MAFCA's purpose is to grow the cooperative economy, provide education about co-ops and build a sustainable and equitable system of healthy, local food production, distribution and consumption.
