Weavers Way Workshop: Spring Tonics
Spring is here, but sometimes the winter leaves us feeling a bit depleted, lacking energy and feeling still that we need to recuperate from the long season's colds or flu. Join us for this workshop to learn about traditional remedies that can revitalize us and restore our energy! We will discuss native herbs and how best to use them in making restorative, cleansing and energizing spring tonics. The workshop will include DIY demonstrations and herbal tastings.
This program will be led by Weavers Way Nutrition Team members Dorothy Bauer and Beth Chiodo. Dorothy Bauer is passionate about healthy eating and is a raw food chef. Healthy food and lifestyle are her passions, with a particular focus on a gluten- and dairy-free, low glycemic diet. Beth Chiodo is an Ambler-based registered dietitian and certified wellness coach.
