IMPORTANT ELECTION NOTE:
The Board of Directors has been made aware of pre-marked ballots where some check boxes are not blank, but are pre-selected with a machine printed x. The Board's decision is that all ballots with pre-marked check boxes are invalid and will not be counted. Please vote online or with a clean paper ballot that is not pre-marked. These pre-marked ballots can also be identified with printing on the back in about 18 point font that starts with "Help your co-op grow..."

Members who have already voted using premarked ballots will be contacted, so that they may recast their votes online or using valid paper ballots.
~ David Woo, President,
Weavers Way Co-op Board of Directors

Board Elections, Bylaw Changes & Electronic Voting

With this spring's board election and proposed bylaw change, Weavers Way is introducing electronic voting. We hope this will help more of our members to participate in the democratic governance of our co-op. (Meet the Candidates, HERE, read the Proposed Bylaw Changes HERE, and log in to Vote HERE.).

Paper ballots will still be available in stores and in the Shuttle, so you can still cast your ballot the old-fashioned way. Paper ballots will be accepted at our Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill stores until May 20, when they will be entered electronically by the Leadership Committee. Members can also vote in person at our the beginning of our May 20 General Membership Meeting. Any adult member can place their household's vote, but there can be only one vote per household, and the first vote cast will be the vote that is counted. Subsequent votes will not be allowed. Any adult member of the household can vote by logging in to the online member center, HERE. If you need help logging in, contact our membership department at member@weaversway.coop.
