Produce

Fresh Produce Year-Round

We are committed to providing our shoppers with high quality produce every day of the year. There is a wide variety of items that we plan to have all the time, no matter the season.

Dairy

Since switching to Merrymead Farms of Montgomery County as our primary milk supplier in 2005, the vast majority of our dairy products are now locally produced. In addition to a full line of naturally raised milk from Merrymead, we also carry fresh, local, naturally raised dairy products like yogurt from Pequea Farms and Seven Stars, organic and naturally raised eggs from Nature’s Yoke, and organic milk from Natural by Nature — all produced within 50 miles of our stores.

Floral

In addition to cut flowers year round, Weavers Way welcomes each season with the appropriate plants, bulbs, and decorative greenery. Early spring brings bulbs as well as potted, bedded and hanging plants, and late spring and summer bring more herbs and vegetables. Fall brings pumpkins and decorative gourds and winter brings holiday wreaths, swags, garland, and firewood.

We emphasize purchasing locally, sustainably, and certified organic when possible, And, of course, affordability, too.

Bakery

Our bakery department offers an enticing variety of savory and sweet items from golden challah breads to brownies and bars. We sell fresh artisan loaves daily, as well as sliced breads for sandwiches. Baguettes are always available and are the perfect complement to every meal. We also carry a large selection of loose bagels and rolls. The weekends, especially, are a nice time to enjoy buttery pastries and croissants with a leisurely breakfast.

Bulk

Like many co-ops, Weavers Way began as a buying club, with members realizing savings by dividing up cases of fruits, vegetables and other products. That economy is still at the heart of what we do, but nowhere is it more evident than in our bulk department.
