Food Moxie depends on a broad range of support to sustain and grow our programs. As a Weavers Way member, shopper, or someone exploring this site, you have already demonstrated that you are passionate about food — how and where it is produced, what it tastes like, how it sustains you and the earth. Donating to Food Moxie allows you to spread that passion and awareness where it is most needed — to communities in Northwest Philadelphia lacking access to fresh, healthy, sustainably produced food.

Our prepared foods are scratch-made from top-notch, trustworthy ingredients. Whether you need a few fruit and vegetable trays, or a lunch with hoagies and deli salads, we’re happy to help.

The purpose of the Weavers Way Board is to govern and guide the Co-op on behalf of the members. Responsible and constructive oversight has a critical impact on the vitality of the Co-op.

Weavers Way has a wide variety of positions in departments ranging from prepared foods (deli), grocery, produce, cashier, floral, health and beauty aids, to outreach, shift management, and cleanup. Typically, staff members work various shifts during the week on a regular basis, and often in more than one department.

Current openings

It is our goal to provide the most nutritious brands of pet foods to our customers. Our super premium/all natural brands of dog and cat foods are free of animal by-products, artificial flavors and chemical preservatives. We also have organic, grain-free and raw food options.

We provide foods for a wide array of small critters as well - rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, wild and exotic birds, fish, and reptiles. We even stock organic and conventional chicken feed.
